Instructions for tele-medicine appointments:

Telehealth visits: 

On the day of your confirmed appointment, call our office at 860-572-9566.

Tell us: Your name, the time of your appointment, and your physician.

Video appointments:

1. On the day of your confirmed appointment, CALL our office at 860-572-9566 to CHECK IN.

2. A link will be emailed/texted to you the day of your appointment. All you have to do is click on the link! 

General appointment policies

All office visits are by appointment only.  Please call 860-572-9566 to schedule an appointment.  

If you have an ACUTE concern, please let the staff know and we will make every effort to see you that day.

If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment our policy is at least 24-hour notice.

It is our office policy to charge $60.00 for any less than 24-hour cancelation,  missed, or  no show appointment. 

New Patients

Your first visit at Natura Medica will generally take about 1 hour to complete.

After you have scheduled your initial office visit, we will email you the appropriate forms to be filled out. 

Please note that new patient forms are due back one week prior to scheduled appointment, should we not receive the appropriate forms within one week (prior to the scheduled appointment ) our policy is to cancel the appointment and you will be required to reschedule. 

On or Before your initial appointment we will need:

  • a copy of your picture I.D. 

  • a copy of your Insurance card (front and back) 

  • copies of labs and /or imaging (XR, CT scan, MRI) for the last 3 years  

  • At your first appointment: Bring a list of supplements (option: bring actual bottles)  and prescription medications 

Health Insurance 

We are participating providers* with:



  • Anthem BCBS

  • Cigna

  • Connecticare

  • United Health Care

  • United Health Care/Oxford

*Insurance coverage is confusing so we encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to confirm that you have "naturopathic care on your policy"

Co-pays, and prepayments for coinsurance/ deductibles is required at time of visit. We accept cash, personal check, debit, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, Discover and HSA. 


Any other health insurance, payment is expected at the time of visit.



If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) all of the services provided by Natura Medica are considered qualified medical expenses.
