Due to covid-19, we are shifting to tele-medicine (phone/video) for the next several weeks.

Instructions for tele-medicine appointments:

After your appointment is confirmed, at its scheduled time, please follow the appropriate url for your physician.

You will be asked to enter your name and be in a virtual "waiting room". Please wait online until your doctor starts the appointment video.

General appointment policies

All office visits are by appointment only.  Please call 860-572-9566 to schedule and appointment.  If you have an acute problem, please let the staff know and we will make every effort to see you that day.

If you need to reschedule or cancel and appointment we ask that you give us at least 24-hour notice. It is our office policy to charge $50.00 for all appointments that are not cancelled with 24-hour notice or missed.  We cannot bill insurance companies for these appointments.

New Patients

Your first visit at Natura Medica will generally take about 90 minutes to complete. As we are gathering your health information, it is very helpful if you remember to bring your completed patient intake form, actual bottles of supplements and prescriptive drugs you are currently taking. Health Insurance Coverage

 

We are participating providers with

  • United Health Care/Oxford

Co-payments are required at time of visit. We accept cash, personal check, VISA and MASTERCARD.

 

If you have any other health insurance, payment is expected at the time of visit. This helps us keep our fees as low as possible. Our staff will assist you with the forms neccessary to submit to your health insurance carrier.  

 

If you have an Health Savings Account (HSA) all of the services provided by Natura Medica are considered qualified medical expenses.

 

Insurance coverage is confusing so we encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to confirm that you have "naturopathic care on your policy,"

 

Pharmacy Refills

 

Following your treatment plan with consistency will give you the best results and we hope you find our pharmacy helpful.  Our pharmacy is open during office hours.  If possible please contact the office by phone 860-572-9566, fax 860-572-7318 or email pharmacy@naturamedicamystic.com before coming in to pickup a refill so we can have it ready for you.  If you cannot come in we will be happy to ship it to you for a nominal shipping charge.
